This article aims to give you a general overview of ‘what’ all the law of attraction "stuff" that’s floating around is all about, and let you in on how to really take advantage of it…

…and guess what? There’s no secret.

Undeniable Fact or Mystical Fiction?

I mentioned a lot of the resources you’ll come across will be misleading. Well, a good way to identify these is that they’ll make the law of attraction seem like a magical force, much like a genie, that grants you your wishes as long as you… buy their product that teaches you how to… well… wish. It’s nothing more than a popular marketing tactic that will leave you with mixed feelings as to whether the law of attraction really works or not.

The law of attraction is real, however, it’s not magic, and it requires work to make it happen… but if you’re willing to follow a few simple guidelines, it can work in a way that certainly seems like magic.

What Do You Want?

The first guideline is very simple: know exactly what you want to "attract" into your life. This is otherwise known as your positive intention. Negative, conflicting intentions would be thoughts that cause you to doubt you can get what you want, or limiting beliefs about yourself which will sabotage your being able to get what you want.

The bottom line is, know exactly what you want, and believe you can get it. You need to adapt an optimistic mindset, even when you find yourself failing along the way. Some people are pessimistic as a defense mechanism to avoid from being disappointed, but pessimism is only intending the very opposite of what you actually want, which to me, sounds like the worst thing ever.

Taking Control

You need to take control of your thoughts, and regularly visualize (see in your mind) the reality that you want (what you want attracted in your life) and do your best to leave out negativity. Your goal is to experience positive emotions about your intentions, so don’t imagine yourself not getting what you want and try your best not to doubt yourself either (these are conflicting intentions, remember?).

This will not only serve to boost your motivation, but will open you up to crucial opportunities and steps that are needed to actually get what it is you are trying to attract in your life.

Once you get the hang of this, at first you may feel like an optimistic dummy who’s constantly wishful thinking, but it’s a lot more than that. Adapting this mindset is the best way to align yourself with exactly what needs to happen to finally get what you want, which takes us to the next and most important guideline…

Taking Action Regularly

Once you’ve identified what you want, are remaining positive, and are regularly visualizing yourself having already achieved what you want, you need to have somewhat of a plan as to how you plan on achieving what you want. This may not be so clear at first, but as you take action regularly (preferably each day), this will become much more clear over time.

The most important part is to do something towards achieving what you want each day, even if it’s just one small step.

That, in a nutshell, is what all the law of attraction articles are trying to describe… some are just more elaborate than others. Once again, be aware of the misleading sources that make the law of attraction, which is an effective ‘process’ for achieving what you want, seem more like some kind of a religion.

Is Positive Psychology the Basis of the Law of Attraction?

The term "positive psychology" first appeared in the last chapter of Dr. Abraham Maslow’s 1954 book Motivation and Personality, the title of which was, "Toward a Positive Psychology." In this chapter, Maslow maintains that psychology itself does not have an accurate understanding of human potential, and that the field tends not to raise the proverbial bar high enough with respect to maximum attainment."

Whereas the contemporary disease model of psychology is often considered overly preoccupied with pathology, positive psychology incorporates its key elements of humanism, by supporting the notion that people are predisposed to seek ongoing growth and higher improvement.

Drs. Martin Seligmanand Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi define positive psychology as the study of how human beings excel in the face of hardship. Seligman characterizes the six human virtues of wisdom and knowledge, courage, love and humanity, justice, temperance, and spirituality and transcendence. He claims to have arrived at this list of basic virtues, by distilling it from a cross-section of theological, sociological, and philosophical teachings from across the centuries of recorded civilized human history.

I have come to understand modern "positive psychology" as akin to a neo-humanistic approach to the understanding of human behavior. The early influences of humanism can also be seen within popularized versions of its ideology as found in the mid-20th century writings of its time, evidenced by Robert Collier’s 1926 book, "The Secret of the Ages" and Napoleon Hill’s 1937 book, "Think and Grow Rich." These best-selling books expounded upon the notion that positive ideas and thoughts have healthy transformative power.

Modern examples of these same philosophical influences can even be seen within the popularized writings of Norman Vincent Peale’s 1952 "The Power of Positive Thinking," Wayne Dyer’s 2004"The Power of Intention," and Rhonda Byrne’s 2006 book, "The Secret."

The basic tenant within these modern writings seems to reflect aspects of many of the concepts related to positive psychology, partly suggesting that the things upon which we focus tend to become our reality, as we allow things to happen and do things, consistent with this structured focus, in order to manifest our desires. I do believe that one of the most vital benefits of positive psychology is its ability to offer its heartfelt reminder of the true nature of limitless possibilities and the power of human spirit and perseverance.

Most Law of Attraction techniques for manifesting a fabulous love life include regular visualization, collecting images or creating "vision boards" that reflect our desires, making space for someone new in our lives, scripting about our partner as if they’re already here, etc.

While these processes help bring our dreams of love to reality, there are other steps required to allow your ideal partner to appear. If you’re serious about getting the love life you want, follow these six tips:

1. Get clear about what you want. Before you can create the relationship of a lifetime, you need to know what that is for you. Sometimes people make the mistake of defining their ideal relationship as being with a specific person, rather than identifying the true essence of what they really want. 4. Love yourself the way you want to be loved. Our most important relationship in life is the one we have with ourselves, yet we rarely give this the attention it deserves. Every other relationship in our life is a reflection of how we treat ourselves. For that reason (and also just because it feels good), treat yourself the way you want to be treated. Say and do nice things for yourself. When you’re good to you, others will be too!

5. Love others the way you want to be loved. To create strong vibrational alignment with the relationship you desire, love others the way you want to be loved. Unconditionally, without reservation, openly – however it is you want to be loved – offer it to someone else. It’s another powerful way to create alignment, and guess what – it feels good too!

6. Finally, let go of what’s not working in your life. In order for good things to happen (like getting the love life you want), you have to feel good. Eliminate what’s bringing you down; stop putting up with the things you’re tolerating. Whether it’s a job, bad habit, apartment, relationship – whatever doesn’t feel good needs to be remedied. Creating a vacuum in your life allows the Universe to fill it with something better.

This action item alone can open the window of opportunity that allows an avalanche of good things to come your way!

You’ll find these tips have one thing in common: creating vibrational alignment with the relationship you dream of. Because "like attracts like," the power of the Law of Attraction is in aligning vibrationally (your thoughts and emotions) with your desired end result. Law of Attraction a Hoax – Vol. 2

The Law of attraction isn’t ‘new age’ junk, as has been suggested, or not so much ‘new age’ as long held beliefs only being unravelled once again in recent times because of the manner in which they were stamped out of the human psyche a long time ago. From the time of the Roman Empire and the birth of christianity, until the present time, humanity was for a long long time FORBIDDEN from even speaking about this stuff! If we were unfortunate enough to have been born a few hundred years earlier, we would be signing our death warrants just for even daring to think this way!

However the underlying roots of all of these teachings are the vaery same principles which have been at the heart of earlier forms and beliefs in Judaism, Kaballah and even christianity, and you will find echoes of the principles littered throughout the bible as well. The difficulty is that most modern thinkers don’t quite know how to explain it best or put it into it’s proper and rightful perspective. Let me clarify that I am NOT referring to the modern teachings of these disciplines, nor am I referring to Britney and madonnas version of Kabbalah, I am referring more along the lines of the stuff taught by Carlos Saures and others – the REALLY mystical stuff!

NLP, Hypnotherapy, and even the Quantum Physics stuff, including the versions peddled by Ramtha et al ,only really does permit us to ask the question "What the BLEEP do we know" ! Indeed, when we are really only scratching the surface, o it is not really a lot, and humanity still has a great deal to RE- learn concerning these things.

The ideaology behind many of these ‘teachings’ is no different from those espoused by none other than Jesus Christ. Now I don’t buy into religion, but that don’t mean I knock the things the man said, and I am speaking as one brought up with much of the phoney hypocritical side of religion stuffed down my throat.

The fundamentals are exactly what JC taught regarding all things, in other words, in order for something to become a reality in your own existence, the fundamental requirement is that you MUST believe that it is possible so to do – and belief means a belief so deep rooted that it is echoed with EVERY fibre of your being – biblically that would be ‘with all of your heart, with all of your mind and with all of your soul’ – as in the way that we are required to love god.

Let’s look at some evidence to back this up, just from the bible alone, and then see what it means:

"He that believeth (on) me, the things that I do shall he do also" (Jesus Christ – John 14v12)
"Jesus said unto him, If thou cans’t believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" ( Mark 9:23)
"For verily I say unto you, that whosoever… (shall say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart)… but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith." ( Mark 11:23 ; mark 11:22; Matthew 21:21 and many more!)

Making it clear that ‘FAITH’ (belief, believe, believing etc) is essential to every ‘miracle’ of creating.

The contrary notion is also clearly evidenced in the bible, showing that Jesus wasn’t in fact the ‘miracle’ creator that religion paints him as, but that the individuals on whom the ‘miracle’ was being performed was primarily involved in the outcome:
"And he (Jesus) did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief." (Matthew 13:58)

Faith can be establish in thought word or deed.

"As he thinketh in his heart, so shall he be" – (Solomon – Proverbs 27v3)
"Whatsoeve a man soweth, the same shall he also reap"

One of my favorites:

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (hebrews 11v1)

How can there be ’substance’ and ‘evidence’ of something that is not yet seen ? Clearly alluding to the notion of ‘thought’ being a ’spiritual’ power, or as quantum theory would put it, it is an ‘energy’.

These are just SOME of the many many little gems of these teachings which have existed for thousands and thousands of years, but which men were forbidden from discussing or teaching by ‘the church’, and where anbody who discussed anything different from what the church allowed was tortured or killed!

The bottom line is, as many modern writers have quoted from ancient sources, whether you believe it will or whether you believe it will not, either way, YOU ARE RIGHT!

The idea of ‘believing’ or ‘creating’ within your own ‘reality’ that you can ‘win the lottery’ as someone joked about earlier, is not so much that this is not possible, but is dependent on whether one truly does believe this is a possibility, and the reasons behind why it could become a possibility – in other WHY would you want to win the lottery?
Just to be filthy rich? Just to prove that some ‘theory’ works ? Either reason would invalidate the many other laws and principles which govern these things, again you could look to the bible and you would find answers:

"thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God" ( cant work just to prove a theory)
"The love of money is the root of all evil" ( cant work just to be filthy rich)
"You ask and receive not, because ye ask amiss" (cant work for any improper or immoral purpose)

Each of these responses is dependent upon conditions of the heart and mind. With these properly aligned for all of the right purposes and with absolute belief that it could happen, then that lottery win can be achieved. If it didn;t happen, then that was because in your mind you wanted it to be, and with your mind you sought to convince your heart that your reasons for it were ‘genuine’ and ‘bona fide’, but ultimately, the universe (and god) knows the truth for ‘it is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart’, and it also tells us that ‘the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked above all things’ and that a ‘mans heart deceiveth him’ !!

There’s a lot more to all of this than just saying little repetitous words, and just ‘thinking’ the right things. there has to be real commitment, sincerity, and so many other of those ‘biblical’ principles behind them for these things to be achieved.

Most of the ‘new ager’ guru’s and teachers haven’t quite caught up on these aspects of it yet.

Is the law of attraction biblically based? That is a question that I hear from Christians who have heard about the law of attraction, but do not want to explore it further for fear that it contradicts their Christian faith.

When you understand the foundation of the Law of Attraction, i.e. – “like attracts like”, all you would ever do is to think about how much you wish you were healthy, or how much you wish you were rich, or how much you wish you were happy, and so on.

If you believe that, among many good things, the Bible may also contain teachings that are based upon misunderstandings–or that have been altered by possibly well-intentioned humans over the years–but that it’s still something sent to you by God, I understand.

The Law of Attraction and Love

The Law of Attraction says that ‘like attracts like’. It means that whatever your predominate thoughts are will show up as people and experiences in your life. I used to get really angry with this idea. The people in my life were not the kind of people I wanted. The experiences in my life were not the experiences I wanted! Why couldn’t I seem to get this attraction thing to work for me? Why couldn’t I make things come out differently? What was wrong with me?

I hear the same thing from many of my clients. ‘What is wrong with me?’ they ask, when the woman they are interested in does not show the same interest in them. Another client asked ‘Am I just stupid?’ when she failed to see that the man she was dating was a closet alcoholic. ‘I feel like a failure.’ Another client confided after another relationship that didn’t turn out the way he had planned.
But the Law of Attraction works perfectly every time. It can work for or against you. Just like gravity. It can work for you to keep you from spinning off the planet, or against you if you lean too far over the edge of a cliff! But the Law of Attraction works through your thoughts and most importantly through the predominate thought you think most of the time. So if your predominate thought is that relationships are a lot of work, then you will attract partners and situations that are a lot of work. If your predominate thought is that all the good ones are taken, then you will tend to meet people you like and could be interested in, who are already in a relationship with someone else. If your predominate thought is that women are only after your money and you worry about having enough, then you will meet women who worry about money too.
So begin to direct your thoughts toward what you want. How do you do this? First realize at your core you are a creative being. You have the power to expand the knowledge and experiences on this planet simply because of your unique perspective. So why not direct that creative power that is yours toward what you want? Start by noticing what makes you feel GREAT! Notice when you feel energized! Notice what settings or circumstances you are in. Notice what kinds of people make you feel joyful and loved. Make of list of all of these. And begin to look for ways that you can be that kind of person yourself.

For example if you are energized by hiking in the mountains or spending time at the seashore and you feel a sense of awe and excitement when you are in nature, make note of that. Then declare, ‘I am a magnet for a partner who loves nature as much as I do and is looking for a woman like me to enjoy it with.’ As you declare this, out loud with enthusiasm, you are setting powerful creative energies in motion. You are igniting the Law of Attraction! That is the first step.

The second step is to know and accept that the Law will work and produce what you give your attention to. So if within your wanting to find that perfect partner you are more focused on the ‘wanting’ and therefore on the fact that you do not have, then that is exactly what will continue to show up for you, more wanting and pinning over the fact that you are once again alone. To change this, begin to experience and visualize what it is like to have the person of your dreams at you side. That’s right, daydream! Vividly pretend! Get the feeling you will have when that person is right there. And accept that just as it takes three hours to drive from Denver to Glenwood Springs, it will take some time for your lover to get to you. So don’t get discouraged. Don’t give up.

Do let go of any sense of ‘wanting’ and instead be joyous and energized by all that you do.

Finally, allow the Law to work for you. Trust that it is working for you. And go out and do things that allow you to feel at your best. Then just keep your eyes open and notice what shows up. Like Tom Hanks in the movie ‘Castaway’. You never know what the tide will bring.

5 Law of Attraction Hurdles and Obstacles to Overcome

There are 5 basic hurdles and obstacles to be aware of when working with the law of attraction. These hurdles can stop you dead in your tracks and leave you wondering where you went wrong with no idea what happened if your not aware of them and if you don’t work to overcome them. Though simple in concept to understand and over come, they do take time and practice to fix and work with.

1. Emotional addictions are the first hurdle you should be made aware of. Each of us has habituated specific emotional addictions. Yes, you are addicted to emotions. Understanding that you are addicted to emotions allows you to begin to recognize how you create and attract specific situations in your life in order to sustain that emotional addiction. This begins to allow you to start developing emotional addictions for positive emotions in order to speed up and utilize the law of attraction better.

2. Infinite wheel spinning. You get what you focus on and you focus on what you get. This is just one of the infinite wheel spinning loops that can catch you up when working with the law of attraction. These loops often happen without our even knowing it or realizing that it happens. Becoming aware of these loops and being able to recognize them allows you to cut them off before they stop you up.

3. Cause and effect. We all learned about the universal law of cause and effect in elementary school. That every action creates something else to happen. If you forget to put gas in your car while it is on e, the effect of that cause is running out of gas. The effect of running out of gas is having to call someone to come and get you or having to walk to a gas station. Cause and effect are always happening for every thing and every effect is the cause of another effect. By understanding the universal law of cause and effect and developing the ability to see how it works, you can begin to utilize this universal law in order to manifest and attract what you want.

4. Your thoughts and your actions are not you. Each of us has millions of thoughts a day. None of those thoughts define who you are any more than a mole on your back does. Many people relate who they are as a person to their thoughts and their actions. Though our thoughts and our actions do offer incites into who we are, they are not who we are. This is why people fear failure so much and seek success. They cling to their failure as though they are a failure if something in their life fails, and cling to success as though that makes them a success. These pieces of our life are not who we are, but are actions we take. Our thoughts are nothing more than the minds way of reacting to the world. You are much, much more than your thoughts and your actions.

5. You cannot think, speak, or do anything outside of who you are. Most people work with the law of attraction and never come to the realization that who you are dictates what you will manifest. If you are not already a millionaire, or a lover, or anything else you want in your life at heart, you will never think like one and there for never attract to you situations, people, and resources that will allow you to manifest those things in your life. First work on your level of being, then you can attract and manifest what you want in your life.

These are natural obstacles that all of us must come to terms with in order to manifest and attract in our lives at a level we truly want to attract at. Take the time to study these hurdles and overcome them. Get educated about these hurdles because your ability to manifest and attract based on the law of attraction in your life is directly related to your ability to get past these hurdles

Law Of Attraction – How Does The Secret Law Of Attraction Explain Unemployment?

Even before the boom of the current economic depression, numerous people had already suffered from terrible situations because they were literally jobless. Does the secret law of attraction apply to this circumstance? The answer is YES!

An Understandable Situation

Not all bosses are kind and generous. Thus, not all employees are lucky enough to spot a good boss. There are several of them who feel uncomfortable in their respective workplaces. Add to it the fact that there are bosses who play favorites! This leaves you without any other choice but to quit your job. Now, your grudge against your boss is very understandable.

On a yearly basis, thousands of students graduate from different universities all over the world. They have one main goal and that is to land on their dream jobs. With this big number of graduates, only a handful of them are absorbed by the existing companies. Less than half of the total number enjoys competent wages and benefits while several of them receive meager salaries. What a torture!

People flock in companies to apply but only a few of them are hired. The main reason is that the firms don’t have much of a need for rookies. They still have their long-time employees. The retirement age is around 60 so that only emphasizes why the problem on unemployment continues to escalate.

The Law of Attraction in Action

This universal law reiterates that good and bad things happen as the outcome of one’s thoughts, feelings, and actions. If you decide to align your energy with the negative force, then, you are likely to suffer from sorrow and depression. Meanwhile, aligning your energy with the positive force means inviting good vibes into your system. Simply put, you are the one who creates your own realities. If you believe in the possibility of one thing, you will get it. However, if you limit your vision because you have doubts or you simply don’t feel like believing in it that much, then, you just receive limited wealth.

Unemployment is pretty much a consequence of your own behavior. It is normal for human beings to become too ambitious to the point that you crave fo 1000 r the moon, the sun, and all the stars. People easily get turned off and are too picky by nature. It often happens that in search of a good paying job, they let go of the simple opportunities and jump from one company to another. When things get too tough and the challenges get out of hand, many employees just give up. They wait for the right moment without exerting any effort to find that great chance.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

With the theory stated above, avoid committing any of these three mistakes:

1) Don’t think that the theory of attraction works like magic. You don’t just wake up with an expensive car parked outside your gate or as the president of a company. If you want to be promoted, you should know the value of hard work.

2) Don’t wait for the most ideal situation. There is never a perfect situation. If you wait for it, then you will have to wait forever to no avail.

3) Don’t rely on lottery. Life is not a lottery. You don’t succeed by chance. You succeed through perseverance.

Unemployment is simply the result of committing these mistakes. Hence, direct your focus on the right use of your positive energy as indicated by the secret law of attraction.

How Can You Make the Law of Attraction Happen Fast?

Today’s society really does seem to infiltrate into people’s psyche feelings of inadequacy and despair, possibly as the result of recession and lack of opportunities in the job market. This generic resentment is ripe for self-improvement and, to those people who feel their lives have been touched by changing their points of reference, and brought their lives onto a happier realm, the Law of Attraction has once again brought empowerment and success. Is it possible, however, to make these laws happen fast?

Many people fail to grasp the most basic principle of all when it comes to the Law of Attraction – it is already out there and working for you all the day and night long, even before you became aware that it existed. In other words, this law has been operating in your life since ‘way’ before you were born. However, for you to be able to adapt your life so that your responses flow in accordance to that necessary action to harness the Law of Attraction in your life, you need to make small changes, altering from negative responses to positive ones. In words contemporary to today’s society: learn how to have a can-do attitude to situations. The Law of Attraction really is a powerful tool which, if properly understood and applied, can help us achieve the life we thought only existed in our dreams. Everything worthwhile comes at a price however, so some input is expected from you. The faster you understand those concepts, the quicker you are going to be able to make them happen fast.

So, for quick results, you need to take onboard the fact that this concept is already at work in your life and, if you allow it, will influence changes for the better. Even though you probably don’t realize it, the life you are living is the direct result of this law according to your own attitudes, beliefs and feelings. If you make tiny alterations to those responses of yours, you will find your life beginning to change.

No matter how fast you want those changes to happen, nothing is likely to occur overnight. It takes a little while to get the pendulum of cause and effect to swing high enough to influence the energy adjacent to it. Gradually, though, if you stick with the Law of Attraction concept long enough, you will see changes and, if you implement the positive responses to situations, you will reap what you sow.

The Law of Attraction and The Power of Intention

Many of us become more open to the possibilities that The Law of Attraction and The Power of Intention can provide when we are in distress, and more so when distress is present simultaneously in several areas of our life.

It’s been said that when it rains it pours, and that is exactly what happens. As soon as one area of our life falls out of balance, other areas start falling one after the other and often just as fast as a domino effect. According to The Law of Attraction and The Power of Intention, this makes total sense. Instinctively, our minds tend to focus on the problem at hand in an attempt to find a solution. This generates a ‘worry state’ that creates negative vibrations which in turn bring about other negative conditions in our lives.

Actually, Rhonda Byrne, the producer of ‘The Secret’ mentions at the beginning of her acclaimed movie that she was in a situation where everything seemed to be going wrong after the death of her father. She had worked herself into exhaustion, had no money and her personal relationships were suffering as well. Have you been in that kind of a situation where nothing seems to be going right?

I know I have. Not long ago, I was going through a divorce. Right about that time, I lost my job, and had no money and no home. On top of that, the stress was getting the best out of my health. I couldn’t sleep well; I was saturated with worry and had over my shoulders the full responsibility of raising my two children on my own.

Just as a light at the end of the tunnel, ‘The Secret’ was introduced to me by a friend just at the time when I needed it the most. I had read about Universal Laws, but nothing had helped me until I watched ‘The Secret’. I watched it once and I was hooked. But I had so many questions and nobody to ask… where was I supposed to start? By focusing on financial matters or visualize a great home, a wonderful job, an active life or vibrant health? What should I do first?

I get this question quite often in regard to The Law of Attraction and The Power of Intention… Where do I start? Where do I set my intentions first? How do I determine my priorities when everything is so important?

The good news is that you can do it all at once. Let me explain…

If we go back to the premise that a happy life is a balanced life… do you really think that we are supposed to set our intentions on one area of our lives at a time? Nothing will ever manifest if we do it this way because in order to feel happy and live a fulfilled life we require a variety of things. Yes, all of them in balance. Makes sense?

So let’s get organized and plan, which is what we really need to do. Make a list of all areas of your life that you want to improve, and even those that you think they don’t need improvement because they can get better. Believe me, they will. Here is an example of my list:

1.Health / Fitness

2.Money / Wealth

3.Family / Relationships

4.Career / Job / Business

5.Personal Development

6.Relaxation / Fun

Now jot down right next to each, one intention related to that subject. For the sake of this example, let’s say that I have set my intention to get fit and improve my health for which I must get a membership at a fitness club.

The problem now is that I don’t have the extra cash to join a club. So this is why I need to set an intention in #2. My intention is that I will get enough cash to join the club.

Since I have not slept well because of stress, my family has suffered as I’ve been grouchy. Also, I don’t feel like returning calls to my friends. This is where intention #3 comes in. As a result of going to a health club to exercise, I’ll release my stress, sleep better, be more patient and my relationships will improve.

Do you see how each intention complements the next helping us create a balanced life as we go? This is why it’s vital to have many intentions going at the same time. Even if your relationships haven’t suffered yet, you will notice an improvement in them as your other intentions get manifested.

Once you set your intentions, take a few minutes each day to visualize each one of them. And then all of them together; create a story in your mind. Use your imagination. Add feeling to your visualization as if the scene in your mind had already happened. Carry these intentions in your mind everywhere you go and be attentive to your surroundings. Look for synchronicities. Opportunities to act on certain things will pop up seemingly out of nowhere. It’s the Universe at large acting upon your behalf. It’s the genie you saw in ‘The Secret’. Take inspired action if you feel like it. Do not judge or try to see how this or that wouldn’t work. Just do it and have faith. Before you know it, your intentions will start materializing in front of your eyes!

But don’t stop there. To achieve a balanced life you must have intentions in every aspect of your life at all times. If you already got your ideal job, now set an intention to get a promotion as soon as possible. Or if you got the home of your dreams, set an intention to get that plasma TV you so much want… you get the idea. Keep on moving and the Universe will back you up.

What The Bible Says On The Law Of Attraction

The "law of attraction" is a popular theory among Christians and non-Christians alike. Nevertheless, people are confused about what the scriptures say on the subject of success and failure regardless of one’s relationship with God. Believers often attribute their success to the blessing of God while non-Christians give the credit to adherence to the law of attraction. The other side of the story involves Christians who continue to fail in many aspects of life in spite of their professed belief in God. Non-Christians also continue to fail in many aspects of life, in spite of their professed belief in the law of attraction. Can any sense be made of what appears to be haphazard events that happen to all no matter what or who their belief is in?

Scripture offers answers to such disturbing questions revealing the types of situations in which God is at work as well as those in which positive thinking, "luck", and chance play their part.

The scripture of Luke 5:4-7 says, "now when he (Jesus) had left speaking, he said unto Simon, ‘Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.’ And Simon answering said unto him, ‘Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.’ And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net break. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink."

What was the problem that skilled fisherman were not able to catch fish? The answer is not given. However, the success was achieved doing the very same thing at the command of the Lord that they had done by their own will power.

Surprisingly, the Bible also teaches the believer of a time when a servant of God failed in war and lost his life to a pharaoh of Egypt because God was not with him, but with the pharaoh (KJV, 2 Chronicles 35:20-24).
